How to Use FlipCloc
Getting started with Flipcloc
Web
- Open FlipCloc.com on any browser.
- No download or installation.
- Just get started!
App
- Purchase the Windows License to download the FlipCloc App.
- Lightweight, no installation, and hassle free access to FlipCloc on your device.
Screensaver
- Purchase the Windows License to download the FlipCloc.scr file
- Right click and install the .scr file. Select the preset you want as your screensaver and click overwrite.
- Your screensaver is ready to go!
Clock
- The default mode displays current local time.
- Toggle between 12H/24H formats, show or hide seconds, and customize themes in settings.
Pomodoro
- FlipCloc can be used as a Pomodoro Timer or a standard timer.
- Switch to Pomo mode to start a Pomodoro session.
- Use the standard 25 5 15 pomodoro values or enter your own custom values.
- Zero out the short and long break values to use it as a standard countdown.
- Paid users can save custom pomodoro values to their presets for quick access.
Stopwatch
- Track a session for how long a task takes. Track the time you are away from your PC. Track cooking time.
- Need to track duration for any task? Switch to Stopwatch mode to count up with precision, perfect for timing tasks.
PWA
- Use FlipCloc as an app by pinning the progressive web app (PWA) and pin to your computer
- Install FlipCloc as a standalone application on your desktop or mobile device.
- Launch from your home screen or taskbar for a native app like experience.
PWA (iOS)
- Open FlipCloc.com in Safari.
- Tap the Share button in the navigation bar.
- Select Add to Home Screen from the menu.
- Tap Add to install it on your device.
PWA (Android)
- Open FlipCloc.com in Chrome.
- Tap the Menu (three dots) in the top right.
- Tap Install app or Add to Home screen.
- Follow the prompts to complete the installation.
Keyboard Shortcuts
- C - Switch mode to Clock
- P - Switch mode to Pomodoro / Timer
- S - Switch mode to Stopwatch
- F - Enter or exit fullscreen mode
- R - Reset current pomodoro or stopwatch
- I - Toggle PIP Mode
- Spacebar - Start / Stop pomodoro or stopwatch
- 1,2,3,4,5 - Switch between saved presets
