Never Miss a Break
For those who need a clear, undeniable signal that a Pomodoro or timer session has finished, Screen Flashes are the perfect tool. When your current pomodoro phase reaches zero, the background and digits will flash brightly to catch your attention
How to Configure
You can fine-tune how aggressive or subtle the flash is using FlipCloc's settings panel
- Toggle On/Off: Easily switch Screen Flashes on or off in the timer settings
- Customize Intensity: Adjust the opacity of the flash so it isn't too blinding, especially in dark environments
- Requires Auto Next Phase Disabled: Screen Flashes work only when Auto Next Phase is disabled, alerting you when a Pomodoro phase has ended and manual input is required to start the next session
Use Cases
- Multiple Monitors: If FlipCloc is running on a secondary or tertiary monitor in your peripheral vision, a flash ensures you notice when the timer ends
- High-Intensity Work: Break yourself out of hyper-focus so you remember to take crucial physical and mental breaks
- Libraries & Offices: Stay on top of your schedule in public or shared spaces where audio alarms would be disruptive
